Canning is a very important part of our homesteading family. I can hundreds of jars every year and the bulk of those are done in a few months span. When it gets crazy like that, it’s easy for me to forget what I canned, when, how much… you get the idea. Introducing a canning log has certainly helped my memory!
The ability to look back on what I canned in previous years, helps me to know if I need to increase something or even just remember what was canned! This darn memory of mine sure isn’t what it used to be. Adding up my total jars canned every year is fun and motivates me a lot!
In previous years, I have used a notebook to record my canning for the years. This worked just fine but I decided I want to create a designated canning binder and this is the perfect first printable!
Of course, I can’t make something so cute and not share it with my awesome followers!

Print off as many copies as you want, hole punch them to put in a binder or slip them into a folder pocket. Mine will be residing on a clipboard in my kitchen until the end of the year. After that, they will go into my homestead binder and I will look back on them for years to come!
