The holiday season is here and you know what that means… lots of good food! Dinner rolls are practically a necessity on any holiday spread and this recipe is easy, delicious, and a hit every time!
Dinner rolls don’t have to be just for special occasions, they are also easy to freeze so you can have them any time. (Unless you are like me who can’t control herself around these things. Limiting my exposure to their tempting presence is wise for my waistline).

My mom actually gave me this recipe (thanks Mom!). She is tasked with making these for every big holiday function. It surely wouldn’t be a family gathering without fighting over the last one of “Kathy’s rolls”. Yes, they are that good. And yes, that sounds awkward… sigh…
The addition of eggs allows for a nice rich flavor while keeping it light and airy- the perfect dinner roll in my opinion.Dinner rolls can be shaped into any form you wish. Basic rolls, crescent, shapes/themes. For example, my mom always makes a turkey shaped on for Thanksgiving. Shes made Santa, bunnies (Easter) and a variety of other fun shapes. Get more ideas here at the Rhodes bread dough website. These rolls can easily be made ahead of time. Simply make the recipe, shape, and freeze. When you are ready to use them; thaw, rise, and bake!
These rolls are best when served warm with a bit of butter. Mouthwatering.
