Summer break was fun and, as always, way too short. Hard to believe the kids are back to school already (well my kids had the first day cancelled due to flooding but…)! Before break I did great with meal planning but once summer started, it was a free-for-all! I definitely need to get back into my weekly meal planning!
Typically, I like to plan month-by-month. I might move days/meals around but it gives me a good idea of what to expect since I try and do one big shopping trip for the month.
For me, the two hardest parts about meal planning is #1- Meal ideas and #2- Consistency. I’m hoping that by publishing my weekly meal plan every week, I will stay consistent and try out new recipes! I tend to only add a couple new recipes in each month, which is okay with me, but hopefully you all will give me some good ideas too! Feel free to post your menu plans/ideas in the comments below!
This will only be my dinner meal plan but I also would be open to posting our breakfast/lunch plans as well. I do daycare and send lunch to school for the boys so lots of meal planning happens here! Let me know in the comments if you are interested in any of those.

Monday 9/3- Labor Day
Steak, corn on the cob, watermelon

Honey Soy Baked Chicken, rice, vegetable

**We normally do not eat this much steak in a week but I thawed out too much for Monday’s dinner! No complaints here though…**

Baked Potato Bar

Today is our daughters birthday party.
Pulled pork/ Crack Chicken (and all the party fixins)
