I’m going to be real with you. This week I did not want to make my Meal Plan. I have a zillion other things to do and taking the time to make a meal plan did not appeal to me in the least.
But then I remembered I committed to doing this. I made a promise that I would share my meal plans and that gave me the motivation to get this done. It’s not going to be the most exciting week of dinners but it’s an extra-busy week around here so simple is going to have to suffice!
Remember, it’s okay to not have fancy meals or try new recipes all the time. What matters is (relatively) healthy meals, simplifying dinner time by planning ahead, and spending many of these dinners with the ones you love. If that means you have 10-12 meals that you rotate, great! If your family enjoys trying new recipes but you can only do that once or twice a month- awesome! Do what works for your family and don’t let meal planning stress you out.
Maybe you have noticed, my weeks almost always consist of one day being a soup, at least another a [easyazon_link identifier=”B00EZI26DW” locale=”US” tag=”modern0fb-20 “]crockpot[/easyazon_link] meal, and another an “easy” memory meal. Helps take the stress off of me when the majority of the meals I make are simple to prep and make!
I will admit, I’m thankful that I made my meal plan. I feel much more prepared for the week ahead!
